The practice

Important: Shankill Family Practice has moved to a larger premises with better accessibility! We're now in the unit above McCartan's Pharmacy, beside Costa. We are sharing the upstairs space with Dr Maria Bohane's Woodside GP Surgery. Entry to the practices is via the door facing Corbawn Lane, there is a lift and stairs to the first floor where the practices are. Our phone number and email address will remain the same. See Location Map
We are one of three GP surgeries in Shankill and work closely with our hospital colleagues in St Colmcille's, St Michael's and St Vincent's University Hospitals.  Our surgery operates as a group practice offering patients the chance to be reviewed by a different doctor within the practice for a different view on their problem.  This benefits you as a patient as a more holistic view of your issue is achieved.  It also benefits us as medical professionals as we continue to learn from each other.
We are also an accredited GP training practice tied to the Dublin Mid Leinster network, and so you may be seen by a GP registrar during your appointment.
