About the practice

Shankill Family Practice is a GP surgery located in Shankill, Co. Dublin. We have appointments available with male and female GPs as well as our practice nurses.  We welcome new private and medical card patients.  Our surgery is wheelchair accessible and parking is available directly outside the surgery by the Lidl shopping complex.

Getting the most from my appointment

Your time is precious so we operate by appointment only and try to minimise waiting times.  We can generally deal with no more than two issues during a consultation.  The doctor will ask you to define the complaints at the start of the consultation and may defer some for another day.  Being prepared with loose clothing and a urine sample where needed will mean more time to deal with more important issues.

As part of the HSE program to better manage chronic disease, we see all of our patients with type 2 diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart failure, heart attack (angina), stroke, and atrial fibrillation twice yearly.
