Dr Joe Marry

Dr Joe Marry
Dr Joe Marry took over the practice from Dr Pat Irwin in 2016.

Dr Marry graduated from Medicine in University College Dublin in 2001. He completed his internship and a further 2 years medical training in St Vincent's University Hospital becoming a M
ember of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCPI).

After a year spent travelling he returned to begin training in Cancer treatment (Oncology) in St Vincent's University Hospital, Blackrock Clinic and St James Hospital.  He completed his Medical Masters (MD) in Oncology Research as part of the UCD Newman Scholar program. Over time, however, he felt the narrow focus of hospital specialties, though exciting, limited the scope of practice too much.

Seeking a more holistic practice he spent a year with the Medicine for the Elderly service in St James Hospital, specialising in bone health and dementia care.  He joined
the HSE/Trinity College General Practice training scheme in 2010.

He completed his GP training in 2014 and has worked in practices throughout Dublin. Dr Marry has particular interest in Men's Health, Mental Health, Care of Older Adults, Children's Health and practice development.
